Summary of Unit

On Movie Maker, students will work in small groups to create a movie review based on a book they have read.
Students will summarize a story using their own words focusing on the main events.
They will also convince other students why they should read their book of choice.

Language Arts: (S3, C5, PO1) Students will write a literary response that includes the writer’s interpretation, analysis, opinion, and/or feelings about the piece of literature and selected elements within it.
ELP: The student will listen actively to the ideas of others in order to acquire new knowledge.
Technology: (S4, 4T-E2, PO1) The students will plan, design and present an academic product using technology tools (presentation software, digital cameras, projection devices)
